WHY WE BUILT
JETSON...

Are you measuring your self-worth by what is on your resume? By how many followers you have on social media? By how many matches you get on that app? Are you motivated by getting that new phone, clothing item or car?

You probably already know this, but all of these things increase the stress, anxiety and depression in your life. It's easy to hide behind the comfort of knowing most people also answer yes to these questions. But what if there was a really simple way to be completely unattached to these things that currently define and motivate you...

Our Mission: to turn your passions into a business.

Why? Not because your passions need a capitalist agenda. Not because your passions have to make you rich. But because the number one reason most people don’t pursue their passions is because it doesn't align with value creation (on planet earth this means making money).

Think about it for a second... how many times have you not done something you enjoy and studied or worked instead? How many times have you held back from doing something that gives you joy because it's too expensive? How often is 'busy' an excuse not to do something?

When you align passion with value you unlock a purpose driven life. Want proof? Let's look at three very different, but wildly successful people and how they turned their passion into their career. More specifically, how despite the huge contrast in the medium of their success (music, technology and social media) their formula was remarkably similar. How the key ingredient of this formula was one action: turning passion into a business. It is because they made this choice as young teenagers that we know their names.

Taylor Swift: How old was Taylor when she first treated music as a business, instead of a hobby? At the age of 12, Taylor and her mom Andrea drove down Nashville's music row and dropped off Taylor's demo tape to various record labels. Two years later she would sign her first record deal. Before she turned 20, she would be touring the globe and performing.

Bill Gates: How old was Bill when he first made money for loving math? When Bill was 13 he had the unusual hobby of doing complex math problems. He put this hobby to work by rewriting the class scheduling software for his school. Then he got a bigger idea: to start a business called "Seattle Computer Products" that would use the power of computers to help other people do complex math problems. "Seattle Computer Products" would soon be renamed "Microsoft" and Bill would soon be solving math problems for the biggest companies in the world.

Charli D'Amelio: What sparked one of the most successful content creators of the 21st century? At what age did Charli get serious about making money online? At the age of 16, Charli started posting lipsyncing videos to TikTok. Seemingly over night her social media followers count was in the millions. Although still only 19, Charli earns millions of dollars a year from creating content, brand promotion deals, as well as her own footwear and snack label.

There are as many of these stories as there are successful people. You can blindly pick a billion-dollar company and investigate the story of its founder. Each time you will find that it always includes one core ingredient: turning a passion into a business early in life.

So now it's your turn. I invite you to discover your passion and get serious about turning it into a business. If you do; phones, clothing, cars, followers, resumes and everything else you used to spend so much time thinking about will fade into obscurity. People will envy you from afar and glorify you up close. Your entire life will seem so much easier.

Jetson was created with this vision in mind. Every feature was built by a group of people who themselves discovered this secret to life and tried their best to give that secret back to you.

Now, the app is still only an early version of this much bigger vision but my promise to you is that we will never stray from this course. We will centralize every product feature, every strategy, around turning your passion into value. Big change is a series of tiny moments. This moment is yours and the time for change is now.

Sincerely,

Will

CEO & Co-Founder of Jetson

P.S. this is me turning my passion into value 🙂
